Abstract
New construction of the boom suspension designed in the form of four-link «batwing»-type lever is proposed in this paper. Its peculiarity is that it is constructed of two independent double-arm pendulums, oscillations of which are restricted by articulated elastic-damping elements. The kinematic relationship between deformation of elastic suspension element and the sprayer boom motion is determined. The dynamic model describing this oscillation process is developed in order to test the ability of the given independent suspension to damp boom vibrations. The solutions for the partial case of boom oscillations occurence are obtained, due to their analysis the efficiency of the proposed suspension can be estimated.
