Parameters for evaluating regular microreliefs
Main Article Content
Abstract
It has been established that the analysis of surfaces with regular microrelief requires quantitative parameters. The existing quantitative parameter for assessing surfaces with regular microreliefs – the relative area of microrelief gives a general characteristic of the surface with PMP. It does not account for the geometry and relative location of microrelief elements, which significantly affect the surface's operational properties. A system of quantitative parameters has been proposed for estimating regular microreliefs, which are sensitive to both the individual geometric parameters of microrelief elements and their relative arrangement. A classification of quantitative parameters for assessing surfaces with regular microreliefs and their division into three groups is proposed: the first, which will take into account the shape and size of a separate PMP element, the second, which will take into account the mutual placement of PMP elements, and the third, which will assess the surface with microrelief elements. The proposed system of quantitative parameters for evaluating surfaces with regular microreliefs will enable more accurate assessment and further link these parameters to the operational properties of these surfaces.
